[The number of large-scale storage installations in the United States in March is expected to increase significantly in the future]

The growth rate of front-of-meter energy storage devices in the United States increased significantly in March, mainly due to the centralized operation of multiple large-scale projects. According to monthly report data released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), the capacity of new front-of-meter energy storage devices in the United States in March was 1,045.4MW, a year-on-year surge of 289.9%, and the increase compared with the previous month was 2,812MW. %. In the first quarter of this year, the cumulative installed energy storage capacity connected to the power grid in the United States reached 1,229.4MW, an increase of 193% from the same period last year. Compared with the 148.1MW and 35.9MW of newly installed capacity in January and February, the new capacity in March showed a strong growth trend. EIA's monthly grid connection statistics show that a total of 22 energy storage projects were newly connected to the grid in March, including 11 in California (scale of 404MW/962MWh) and 9 in Texas (scale of 248.9MW/ 407.2MWh), 1 in Nevada (scale 380MW/380MWh) and 1 in Hawaii (capacity 12.5MW).
